We started working with Whitecliffe College to produce their prospectus in 2003. As Whitecliffe has grown we have also assisted with multiple visual communications for the college including such things as print advertising, the ground-breaking Neochroma magazine and their most critical marketing tool, their content rich website.
The first thing that we did when commissioned to design the Whitecliffe prospectus was to change the format from the common A4 format employed by most other competitive education suppliers in their market. Whitecliffe was different from other larger universities offering competitive education opportunities and we wanted to celebrate those differences by looking different. At the same time it was important when competing against the Government funded options, that all Whitecliffe's materials had very high creative and production values. Our design work for Whitecliffe College has won multiple Best Design Awards.
The current prospectus is split up into seven individual documents separating out the various qualification options. The prospectuses are designed to appeal not only to younger students but also to adult students and parents. As well as outlining course content and structure, they talk to current students and students who have graduated about their experiences at Whitecliffe and how valuable it has been at a personal and developmental level.
